4. Do you have a nickname, if so what is it and how did you get it? Shrimper, It started from some fellow racers, when they found out that I lived in Aransas Pass. Aransas Pass is known as a shrimping community. So they called my car a shrimp boat, and always asked me if I had any shrimp for sale. So I just had fun with it and started wearing white shrimp boots around the pits before the races.

6. How long have you been racing? 9 years

7. Do you work on your own car? yes

15. Have you ever rolled your race car? no, but I have hit the wall pretty hard.

16. Have you ever been hurt in a race car? not seriously

17. If so, how were you hurt?

18. What groove do you prefer to run (top, middle, bottom)? whatever groove gets me to the front fastest

19. Do you like a tacky track or dry slick track? dry slick

20. Do you like your car on the loose or tight side? tight

22. If yes, what is your goal? to win a championship in the SportMod class.

24. What is your #1 favorite moment from your racing career? winning the rookie of the year trophy in 2000

25. What is your worst moment from your racing career? Blowing a right front tire, in my asphalt modified, and hitting the wall at San Antonio Speedway.

26. What was your funniest moment? This year hitting the wall at I-37 in hot laps and coming back to win the feature.
  
27. In your racing career, what was the best advice anyone has ever given you? Race in the class you can afford.

28. What advice would you give someone just starting out in racing? Be ready to spend some money, it ain’t cheap.

29. If you had the opportunity to build a race track, where would you build it, what kind of track and what size would you make it? I am not interested in owning or building a track.

30. What professional driver do you see yourself as & why? I don't see myself as any other driver, but I like Kevin Harvick, because he speaks his mind.

31. Do you have any pre-race superstition? If so, what are they? No chicken on race day, other than that I have routines not superstitions.

32. Do you spend more time with your race car, or your spouse? It depends on which one is crying for my attention the most.
