Point System

Heat Race Points: (Pure, Street, Super Stocks Only)

The winner of each heat race get 10 pts. With each subsequent position worth one point less. (example: 2nd place gets 9 pts, 3rd place get 8 pts and so on).

Feature Race: The feature winner will receive 40 points with each subsequent position worth one point less, with 24th position in feature worth 17 points. If more than 24 cars start the feature, all positions from 24th on back receive 17 pts.

If less than 10 entries for any given night, for each car less than 10, one point fewer than normal is awarded for feature win. (example: if 9 cars entered, feature win would be worth 39 pts, if 8 cars entered, the win would be worth 38 pts, and so on).

Lineups:

Heats and features are lined up by their season point averages, stagger inverted, lowest point average to the front, highest point average to the rear. New drivers carrying no points, start at the rear of the field. Point averages are figured from the IMCA point system. Averages are figured by drivers total point total, divided by the total number of times he/she has competed at the I-37 Raceway.
